“Currently my interests are centred on the deconstruction of systems within the Painting tradition, not to demystify the activity, but to develop new ways of approaching how to produce work. Stemming from this central theme my interests include usage of different materials and exploration of unconventional methods of painting. Complimenting this runs an underlying challenge focused on examining my role as an art producer. As a result, conceptual parameters for developing my own idiosyncratic expressions of different formal and artistic approaches are emancipated.”
